YEAR 12 ANCIENT EXCURSION

From Miss Brooks

Year 12 Ancient History got a hands-on taste of Roman and Greek history during their visit to the Nicholson Museum at The University of Sydney on Friday 4 December. Highlights included viewing the Lego model of Pompeii, and handling a artefacts ranging from Spartan daggers to Roman pottery. This was great experience at analysing sources for evidence, which will greatly benefit the students as they continue their HSC studies!

YEAR 12 RAISE FUNDS!

Year 12 did such an excellent job yesterday. They raised a stack of cash to put towards a gift to the college, but more importantly worked so well as a team!
Here are some pics from the BBQ at lunch time.

DRIVE TO STAY ALIVE

On Monday, year 11 got to participate in a series of workshops designed to help them be more considerate and safer on the road. Presenters included Local Police, Youth Solutions, NRMA and even a cheerful local truck driver, who let the students have a sit in his truck. I hope the day helped our students learn a lot about road safety, especially around other vehicles.
