Hello!
2015 has really started in a great way! Swimming carnival, foundation day and of course all the festivities of the first day back. The first week was such a great chance for me to catch up with students and to even greet some new members of our stage 6 cohort.
I hope that you have had a great start to the year also.
Just a few reminders as we round up week 3 here at the College;
- Year 11 and 12 students should be completing revision and homework each night for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Part times jobs are great! However, each students should seek to find a balance that demonstrates that school work is first priority. I have spent time reminding students, that even thought there is great value to part time work, there is greater value in opening up opportunities after school through successful study.
- Correct uniform is an expectation of all students at MACC and Year 11 and 12 students should rarely need correction in this area. As young men and women, I would expect that they can independently ensure they have and wear the correct uniform at all times.
- Enjoy your studies! You have chosen electives that indicate you have an interest in that area. Make the most of the time you have in those classes and explore your interests with enthusiasm!
I am hoping that this blog will be a great way for us to communicate, if you have any suggestions for things you would like to see on here, just let me know!
